Present - Jackie Koregal, Beth Kraemer, Miko Pattie, Jane Martel, Susan Brown

Summary of decisions -

1. Change the name of our database to "KY Adult Education Resources Database" (we added the KY)

2. Keep our nav bar as-is. We decided not to change to the LINCs "Special Collections" terms because they are not assigning these terms to all their records, and the terms are not much different from our terms anyway.

3. Have our interface provide access to our database and LINCs. We talked about several options - including dropping our database entirely, and having the interface just point to LINCs. We decided to maintain our database, particularly now while it includes resources not available in LINCs. We can always decide to drop it in the future.

4. Have our interface search both databases together, with no option to select one or the other. We decided to eliminate that decision step, because it might be confusing. Results are separated by database (with our database coming first). A user can always jump right to the LINCs results by using the link in the results bar to the left of your hits.

5. Make LINCs available in the bigger KYVL gateway now. We did this, and it's up already. (If you go to http://www.kyvl.org/ and choose "catalogs and databases" then choose the pink button "select a single....", you'll see LINCs as one of the many KYVL databases now available.)

6. Make a few changes to http://www.kyvl.org/html/ae/ae.shtml to reflect the addition of LINCs to our interface. For example, we need to add a description of LINCs to the page. Susan is going to be making changes to this page.
