Website suggestions discussed:
1. Add Test following GED
2. 2 suggestions were made for the homepage to help learners know where to enter. Underline and make the type larger and add Adult Learners Enter Here, or use drop downs with key phrases such as Get started on your GED.
3. Spell out all references to DAEL. Remove logo from top right of home page.
4. Learner home page should be more welcoming.
5. Use “Go GED, Go Higher”
6. Add KYVAE Creative Brief Mission statement to About KYVAE
7. Learner should be able to go directly to local adult learning ctr.
8. Add emails to list of centers. Take out names.
9. Take out the steps.
10. For Educators, infuse the Ky Academy.
11. Add a section, Who Can Take the GED?” (Are you 16 years or older? Are you withdrawn from high school? > click to contact someone
12. Use motivational copy….Most jobs require a h.s. diploma. H.S. grads/GED grads will earn $6,000 more per year.
