Summary of Discussion of Shere's Storyboards
- Site map - The names in the sitemap are the same as the name next to the
step.
- Step 3 - we like the thinking caps
- Step 6 - simplify the words (idea of keywords)or have them highlighted in
the text
- Step7 - We decided to get rid of computer as a seperate item but have it
listed under Library, Home, and Classroom. Classroom will be added. Librarian
in Library image will be pointing to a computer with books on the shelf in
the background. KYVL will be listed iunder library.
- Step 9 will be moved to arond step 13. We need the data sheet that Becky
talked about.
- Step 10 Locate Information - This page is intended to show where you can
use those keywords. Table of Contents and Index in the same box. Dictionary
and encyclopedias istead of just dictionaries. KYVL with Searchasaurus, EBSCO,
etc. listed under it. A click on one of the boxes will bring you to the following
pages of Step 10
- Step 10 Internet Search Engines - simplify, too wordy. Add insert panel
how to use a serch engine. Maybe break into several pages.
- Step 10 How to USe the Dictionary - becomes a demonstration with the machine
on the next page.
- Step 11 - simplify the scan-o-meter to just two categories.
- Step 13 - Here's where former step 9 will be added to show diferent ways
of recording data.
- Step 14 - We are all very excited about the ticklish foot. We wanted to
add information about plagerism "To use someone elses's information without
giving them credit is stealing." Jan will send the URL for the Bib maker
that she uses.
- Step 15 - Use representative pages instead of the real ones.
- Step 16 - there is one final scene of the policeman giving the ticket
- Step 17 - Change Opinion to Conclusions
- Step 18 - add powerpoint, brochure, portfolio pieces, feature article
- Step 19 - change essential questions to main question
- Last page - Link to Front page becomes something like "Now visit these
resources"
