This section presents vital statistics data on Kentucky births, deaths, marriages and divorces.

Kentucky Data Warehouse

These data are excerpts from a hard-copy publication titled "Kentucky Annual Vital Statistics Report", published yearly since 1954. Currently, only 1997 and 1998 data are available on-line. Earlier editions should be available in most public libraries.

This site provides numbers and rates for selected birth and death statistics for the state, counties, and Area Development Districts. The data include births by age, race, and marital status of mother, trimester prenatal began, stillbirths, and low birth weighs. Numbers and rates for death statistics are provided for the same geographies. The data include deaths by age and race, and causes of death including disease, suicide, and unintentional injuries.
