About KYVL

This area of the KYVL Web site is designed to help Kentuckians learn about the Kentucky Virtual Library. Much of the information in this area of the Web site is geared toward librarians throughout the state that are using various KYVL services.

The Mission and Chronology sections will give you information about the evolution of the Kentucky Virtual Library.

Click on Services to learn more about databases, training sessions, document delivery, and more.

Committees/Work Groups provides information on the committees and work groups that assist with the services provided by the Kentucky Virtual Library. Included in this section are minutes of the work group meetings and contact information for work group members.

The Facts and Stats area presents factual and statistical information about KYVL, including total use of the Web site, total use of the databases, and usage by user community, among other information.

The Assessment area contains information gathered by the KYVL staff through the use of surveys and other user satisfaction measures.

The Public Relations area contains information on acquiring promotional materials to help promote the Kentucky Virtual Library in your school or library. Other information available in this area are current and past press releases, staff biographies, and testimonials from librarians, teachers, and others who use the Kentucky Virtual Library.
