• Step 2: KYVL Resources
  • If you have a computer with an Internet connection, you can use these resources from the Kentucky Virtual Library. You can log on from your classroom, from the library, or from your own home!
  • At home, you'll need a special PASSWORD and USER NAME which you can get from your teacher or a librarian. Be sure to get this information before you leave school!

  • Kentucky Virtual Library - Search From Home gives you the option of logging in from home.
  • Grolier Encyclopedia has thousands of articles about people, places and events.
  • Searchasaurus has many magazine and newspaper articles, as well as Funk & Wagnall's New Encyclopedia and EBSCO's Encyclopedia of Animals.
  • Kentuckiana Digital Library focuses on Kentucky history with pictures, maps, stories, facts and timelines.
  • EBSCO Search in Spanish contains many resources written in Spanish.
