Venn diagram

If you want to compare ideas to see what they have in common, the Venn diagram is excellent.

1. Start by drawing two large circles on a page. Put one on the left and one on the right. Make sure they overlap so there is space in the center where you can write.

2. Write one fact in the left circle

3. Put a second fact in the right circle

4. What do the two facts have in common? Write this in the center area.

Spacedog: You can combine this method with other methods when taking notes.
