2010 Funding Model
KYVL’s original funding model relied heavily on centralized funding from state agencies from KDE, KDLA and CPE, as the parent organization of KYVL, with cost sharing support from participants. KYVL was forced to reduce services and resource during FY2008-09 due to state and departmental budget cuts. To avoid further cuts in services, KYVL will transition to a more member supported model over a period of 1-3 years.
